Walk Cycle

165 Students:
The handout says Monday but
we will begin on Tuesday.
1. On Tuesday Dec. 3, you are expected to come to class with the 4 drawings done.

2. On Tuesday Dec. 3, be ready to scan and ink the images then place into Flash.

3. The Walk Cycle is Due at the end of class on Thursday Dec. 5.

*Color is optional
*You must include a background that matches the style of your character.
*Include opening and closing credits.
*The goal is to have the character walk across the stage: begin by having the character start from off stage, walk onto the stage and all the way across and off the other side. Then have the character do the same thing from the opposite direction.
*Turn in as a swf. to me and upload to ACME as a .mov

Home work: Comic Project

Homework
165 Students:
In your sketchbook or on separate sheets of paper draw a 3-4 panel comic that uses the two characters that you designed for class this week. The comic should begin with the premise that "A character walks into a room and..." You can add more characters if you want, however all the characters and any backgrounds that you  use must be in the minimalist style. As you work on your story keep in mind the basic format for story telling, Action, Reaction, Consequences. This is due Tuesday, please ink using two pen thicknesses.

Homework Drawing

165 Students:
Work on fine tuning your minimalist drawings. If you did not do all 12 you need to complete the project. Some of you need to redraw from the start, you know who you are. Besides completing the last drawing project, You homework for Thursday is to draw another character in the same minimal style. The theme is to draw that childhood acquaintance that followed you around and looked up to you when you were little. Be prepared to tell us about the person. Please ink using two thicknesses of pens. Due At 7:00 when you walk in. Have fun.
