it should help with the drawing.

Homework for Thursday

165 Students:
In your sketchbook, full page, using your Blue & Red pencil, try drawing yourself as if you were drawn by Charles Schulz. When done, use your black marker and outline. Due Thursday.

Yep... the one on the right
is me as a peanuts character.

The ones below were not drawn by
Mr. Schulz, but are a great collection of
famous monsters in the Schulz style.

On Thursday we animate the ball bounce, please read pages 36-39 about the ball bounce from the Richard Williams Textbook.

166 Students:
Due at the end of class next Thursday is your character page and character spin. I will show you how to put together your character spin at the beginning of class on Thursday. Your character walk cycle is due at the end of class the following Thursday on Jan. 29th

For Tuesday

Hi everyone,
I hope your weekend was great, here is a reminder for this Tuesday.
165 Students:
In your sketchbook, using your Blue & Red pencil, try drawing yourself using the 3 photos you took in class. Front view, 3/4 view and profile. For this first project I'm looking for simple drawings, we will practice them in class, I don't expect everyone to make them perfect the first time. The main thing is to try and have fun.
166 Students:
If I gave you the go ahead, you should be working on your character page for the walk character and sketching out ideas for the flying & swimming characters, here are some images for you to consider as you work on your designs.
See you Tuesday,
Arthur

Below is a good character page.

165-166 Homework for the first night

165 Homework:In your sketchbook, with your Red Pencil, draw that thing that lived under your bed or in your closet and frightened you at night when you were a child. Make it spooky or silly, have fun just draw full page. Leave the drawings in your sketchbook, we will look at them in class on Thursday. The guy below came to stay...

166 Homework:Below is the outline for the project. For next Thursday bring in 6 different sketches of a four legged animal that you may want to animate. I will go over them with you and we will pick the best on for animating. Once we have picked one you will then draw a character page as described below.
