March 15, Homework

165 Students:
Draw one version of yourself as an Anime style characterUse your blue pencil to design the basic shape, add the red pencil for detail. No Graphite! and add black ink. No need to color your drawings, show the entire body, full page. Below I have several samples of myself in the 3 possible choices that you have. March 1, Homework

165 Students:
Your transformation projects are looking weird, wild and snappy! Good job...For homework, I would like you to add two drawings to your animation.
1. As shown in class, use your regular normal forward facing face drawing as a template for drawing your profile.
2. Place a clean sheet of paper that has had the holes punched out, on top of your regular normal forward facing face drawing.
3. Use the spacing of the facial features in the front view drawing and the profile photo you took in class to draw your self in profile.
4. Once the profile drawing is complete you will create a smear drawing in the way that was demonstrated in class.
(SHOWN BELOW ARE LUCKY'S DRAWINGS).

FRONT VIEW NORMAL HEAD

 SMEAR DRAWING

PROFILE DRAWING

*If you only get the profile drawing complete, I can give you a hand with the smear drawing on Thursday. This will be the final part of the transformation project.

166 STUDENTS:
ON THURSDAY AT THE END OF CLASS PLEASE TURN IN A PENCIL DRAFT OF YOUR FIRST CHARACTER PAGE.
